Venturi Nozzles
Venturi nozzles ranging in size from DN80 to DN600 in service throughout Australia.

Uncertainty of discharge coefficient, Cd is as specified in ISO 5167-3, typically <2%.
Calibration in an ISO 17025 accredited flow laboratory over design Reynolds Number flow range yields <0.5% uncertainty.
ISA 1932 Nozzles
Designed in accordance with ISO 5167-3 again with VNOZ designed simple wafer style mounting and integral 3/4" NPT pressure connections

Uncertainty of discharge coefficient, Cd is as specified in ISO 5167-3, typically <1%
Calibration in an ISO 17025 accredited flow laboratory over design Reynolds Number flow range yields <0.5% uncertainty
Advantages of Nozzles:
- No moving parts reliability
- Impervious to flow surge and contaminants
- Can operate (at increased uncertainty) up to sonic (choked flow) velocity
- Easily installed (in a drop-out spool for ease of inspection/change-out/resizing)
- Minimal upstream flow conditioning
- Well researched and proven
- Excellent pressure recovery (low cost to operate)
- Easily integrated into DCS/SCADA
Nozzles can be used with smart multivariable transmitters to deliver Mass and Std Volume flow
(Note, this usually requires regularly updated fluid composition unless the composition is reasonably consistent within uncertainty bounds)
